Still waiting.....

I am a child of God...a daughter of the King. He has gifted me with an artistic and musical ability. I've used those gifts to bless others and glorify my Father and to feed my soul. With obligations of a family, I have used those gifts less and less as years go by, but I hope to someday get back to that place where my soul gets fed and to use my talents again..... and to their fullest.

I LOVE:
God, my husband, my family, art, music, quilting, sewing, crafts, tea, reading, gardens, hydrangea, wysteria, entertaining friends, babies, sewing, drawing, art museums, stained glass, dogs, birds, dragonflies, the smell of fresh cut grass, the way a baby is so warm and cuddly when they first wake up, late night heart to hearts with my daughter when we're getting along, family game night, the sense of accomplishment after completing a quilt for someone (even though I'm sad because I'm going to miss it), being able to spend so much time with my granddaughters, the sound of children singing or laughing, antique furniture, movies, laughing so hard I cry, or laughing after a good cry...through the tears, walking on the beach off season, trees, when all of my kids are around the table with my husband and I for a Sunday dinner, worship, those rare times when I am still enough to feel God's presence and knowing that no matter what...my God is in control.....
